As a side effect, it does restrict refresh rate to ~60Hz (not the monitor refresh rate, just the rate at which DDrawCompat updates the screen and applies v-sync if requested by the game). TS-DDraw is using opengl rendering for example, while DDrawCompat is only modifying some parameters passed to the real DirectDraw dll. Posted March 16, 2024. It improved the performance dramatically for everyone who tested it yet (went over 14000 FPS in ra1 for me!!). It also solves the alt+tab bugs on windows 8/10 (and the menu bugs too). It should work fine on Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10.
