Differences found between males and females were not statistically significant. WebPrevalence of DR in males was 17.0% (95% CI: 15.5–18.5) and in females was 16.7% (95% CI: 15.5–18.0). Highest prevalence of DR was observed in the 60–69-years age group at 18.6% and a similar prevalence in age groups of 70–79 years and >80 years age at 18.3% and 18.4%, respectively.
