Either with the starter or the kick, spin it until the pressure stops rising on the gauge. Download this and get to reading it as it will prolly be better than the Clymer.

WebNov 3, 2014 · yzstroker. Get it to idle as slow as you can, then spray the boots, carb and intake with carb cleaner. If you hear a change in rpm, bobs yer uncle, you found a vacuum leak. Wd40 or many other things work, but carb cleaner evaporates fast and makes it easy to pinpoint the leaks. Probably could use water in a spray bottle.
